The best button layout?

So, I play with the standard layout. I want to know the pros and cons of each one, as well as the general favorite, so if somebody please has enough time to do this, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Wow, I didn’t think these many people would respond! From what I see, it’s:

  1. Bumper Jumper
    2.Recon
  2. Halo 4

EDIT AGAIN: I have found my go-to controller setting!
Drum roll please…

Bumper Jumper!

Im not sure what most people use but I use recon. Sometimes its hard for me to switch back and forth on this with COD

I use bumper jumper took some getting used to after using boxer for 5 plus years but I really enjoy it now. I got my buddy to switch a few weeks ago and he says he’ll never use anything else. Biggest perk would be being able to jump while being able to still look around. Helps when’s jumping to avoid enemy fire but you can continue to fire and aim. That split second of not having your finger on the stick may seem like nothing but it makes a difference when you get used to it

Biggest con would be shooting and melee. Once again easily overcome once you get used to it

I use green thumb and it’s pretty good, at least for me.

It took me forever to switch to Bumper Jumper, do i like it better ? …I dont know. The only advantage I see is that you can shoot while jumping which gets me a kill or two extra during a game. But honestly the default was more comfortable.

I LOVE the Halo 4 setting. I typically use the default control scheme for Halo games but Halo 5’s felt off and the Halo 4 layout fixed everything wrong with it.

I use the Halo 4 setting. I tried bumper jumper when I first bought the game but couldn’t get use to the A button being sprint, just felt unnatural compared to the left stick.

I can’t speak for others, but I think the best layout is Recon.

I’ve been using Halo 4. Scoping with LT didn’t feel right to me lol.

The default has done best for me. I also claw my controller and it’s felt the most natural so far.

I use the fish sticks since it’s very similar to Titanfall and Cod. The only weakness I experience is while I attempt to aim my ground and pound. Hopefully I could get an elite controller soon and fix that little problem.

Halo 4 is the best and most intuitive one. It allows you to do pretty much everything fluidly and easily in the game. I love thrust and melee being the shoulder buttons, grenade is the trigger it’s been since halo 1, and zoom is clicking the thumbstick, sprint is clicking the other thumbstick.

Recon. So easy to use IMO.

I’m a big fan of Bumper Jumper.

Button Layout: Bumper Jumper
Sensitivity: 10
Acceleration: 3
Inner Deadzone: 10%
Outer Deadzone: 8%
Vibration: ON
Toggle Crouch: OFF
Auto-Stabalize: OFF

Wow, I did’t expect these many comments! Ill try them all out when I get the time.

From what I can see it’s Bumper Jumper , Recon, and the Halo 4 (which i just can’t work with) control schemes that people really like.

Well i use bumper jumper, but i also have an elite controller.

Been using bumper jumper since it was introduced though!

This is also my layout.

I use recon and claw my controller but default and bumper jumper are very nice controls too.
