Why in the world is it so amazing at no scoping? I just played a guy who was literally just destroying me with a snapshot everytime I saw him. He used promethean vision if that helped, but idk. Is the beam rifle easier to no scope with?

Ok so the guy wasn’t a deity of sniper rifles, well that’s pretty annoying. Hopefully 343 reduces the amount of magnetism it gets.
It is pretty over-powered. But it’s good because you can only get it with Ordnance or Map control in Snipers, so you gotta work for it first! I think that’s why they didn’t allow you to start with it and make you start with the Sniper Rifle only. Good thinking on the Matchmaking team’s part!
Literally just played some customs with fiesta slayer and I was ripping heads off no scoping with the beam rifle…dang thank god it isn’t super prevalent.
Beam Rilfe has insanely high autoaim, Halo 4 is made for the noobs, and now they have sniper where even they can do amazing noscopes…It needs to be nerfed, bigtime.

No, it isn’t.
Halo Reach had minimal aim assist outside of scope (all previous Halo games had exactly none).
Halo 4 it’s almost like revvy sniping. You just have to have a player touching the reticle and you will get a hit and probably a headshot. It’s ridiculous.
