Can we get more of these on maps? I love this weapon but I don’t think it’s on a single multiplayer map, Big Team or Arena. The only time I’ve ever got to use it is in Warzone. Can we change that?
Much like the SPNKR Rockets have been added in and included on one new arena map, other weapons have the potential to be added in to arena as well. It all depends on 343’s plans and community feedback. But I’m with you as long as they make new covenant based maps to put it on

The beam rifle is great! I prefer it over the sniper rifle because I know when I spawn it I will get max ammo. I hope 343i listens to the community.

That’s pretty accurate from my experience. It’s a good gun but a lot of the time it just kinda sits there.

I think Greenskull is the only person who can use that thing effectively.
It replaced the Prophet’s Bane on Truth for whatever reason, no one ever uses it, and it’s a waste of a power weapon.

Ya I wouldn’t mind it if it were just an ordinary weapon and there were more fun random weapons like it on the map, but come on to be a featured power weapon? I mean the sword and shotgun aren’t even featured and they are very powerful weapon choices.
On Truth it’s not worth the risk. That spot in the top mid is a vulnerable place to go (minus the fact they put up those huge shield doors now) and it’s just not worth the risk, nor does it give you much of an advantage on the map. That’s the problem with a lot of these “balanced” weapons is that they take away the purposes and advantages of other weapons.

Again, the Binary Rifle being a 343 thing… you tend to see that more.

Despite what people say, we need unbalanced power weapons. The fact that they typically had few weaknesses made them so effective. Same with maps. The “Power Positions” now hold only a slight advantage over the other team.
I think the ammo capacity and fire rate make it far too OP for the 4v4 game modes but I’m content for it to make an appearance in BTB.

Unbalanced power weapons, unbalanced weapons, everything! That is how Halo has always been balanced, by having tiered weapons and positions. Now it’s just a bland slate of you can pick any weapon up in front of you at any place on the map and contest any random person in front of you with any random weapon they have.
