H4 is probrably gonna be REALY hard to get out of the maps but then again from looking at the anniversary maps on reach… there probrably gonna be REALY easy to get out of so easy yes, hard no 
relic was honestly one of the greatest maps ever IMO, i know ill try but if i cant then ill just play one that someone else made.

I’m hoping they went with invisible barriers instead of kill boundaries. Then all I need is some help from my good friend the teleporter.

And custom maps with spawns outside the level on them?

Won’t work. It’s just part of the skybox and even if you could get out of the map and over to there, it’ll just be a flat pizelated mess.
Bet you $10 that it won’t be solid and you will just pass right through it and it will look incredibly -Yoink- up close. If it was what you are expecting, they would have made that part of the map accessable.
you’ll just be told to return to the battle field once you get past the invisible barriers, the islands themselves won’t even be solid because they’re a part of the skybox, it is even questionable that they’re 3D instead of being a picture.

Yeah, Ridgeline/Timberlands comes to mind when getting outside the map and doing some Forge work 
Not sure if it would work for Halo 4 though. People will no doubt try however.

Well, we have Forge pieces for solidity that we can place just under the sand, and obviously it won’t look as stunning as some other areas of the game, but it’s an area that finally gives us a good place to start with a Relic remake.

sadly no, not when the object limit system works in the same way as reach.

Depends on how many objects they allow you to have in Halo 4. I’ve noticed the budget is bigger, so presumably the object cap is too.

budget is 10k like reach, the object limit under structure is about the same as reach with the same price and limit set up, i can’t speak for the new objects though because there was nothing in the videos about them other then “they’re there”

Hm, I thought it was bigger. Maybe it was in the RTX demo and that’s what I’m remembering.

yea, budget was 1,000,000 at RTX but almost everything at RTX was a placeholder.
