How excited are you for people to stop quitting so dang often?!
I honestly believe that JIP is a better solution to this problem. I mean, at the very least, JIP fixes the problem for the team who just lost a player. I dunno, perhaps the more you quit, the more you JIP.
JIP doesn’t really work in ranked games.

I honestly think getting banned from a game that i bought just for quitting out a few matches is silly
I like that it’s there. But at the same time I can see it as a bad thing. People just won’t play the game, especially if it’s not their fault that they lagged out. It’s happened to me a few times, and it’s so annoying.

goods heavily outweigh the bads; I hope it’s more than just a slap on the wrist. 15 minute bans won’t cut it.
I love this! How many times have I had to finish a match with 2 or more players short, I don’t even want to know.
There is only one thing more I would like to see. A Forfeit option. This would be a majority vote for you and your team. If your team is losing so badly there is no chance for you to recover, or if you are so short on players, you can forfeit the match. It would count as a loss, but not a quit.
I don’t think they can make the punishments too severe too quickly otherwise people just won’t play the game anymore. I’m all for discouraging mid match quits though.
I would like there to be repercussions for early quitting, (15 mins ban). But as someone who’s internet can cut out on occasion and who has stuff going on that means I may have to quit at a moments notice (which is extremely annoying for me too) I would be furious If the ban was too long or permanent as Its a game we’ve all payed for so surely there’s an element of being able to play it on our terms…
P.S. I am against people quitting just because they’re losing or whatever but its impossible to know why someone quit and therefore very difficult to police and make fair decisions.
