ok so this is really getting annoying at this point I got banned from arena for 9 hour because I lost connection at the last minute I was getting placed for my final swat game I win the game and bam I lose connection but it registered I won and give me diamond 4 no I don’t constantly leave it’s literally always the the game/343 like lost connection when my connection is completely fine or even once I accidentally suicide twice on fathom on the skill jump next to bottom mid to top mid and I can go on but it’s like once you get banned in arena you either play warzone or play something else me personally I don’t like warzone I’ll have to play custom but custom is dead because everyone is being competitive cuz 343 is shoving it down our throat or playing warzone and I can only find custom games from halo lobby finder but sometimes I don’t want to do that nor play warzone or campaign so what am I left with oh arena but I’m banned from everything can’t even play infection and I recently got banned from warzone because I kept leaning at the loading screen for the new map which I hate so I don’t want to play it I understand why I got banned for warzone but it’s also dumb because we didn’t even load into the game so technically I didn’t leave because when there isn’t 24 people in the lobby we wait till we get more people so I didn’t leave my team at a disadvantage because they got someone else idk just my rant on the ban hammer
I’ve been disconnected by their end before and it does not count towards the banhammer at all. I know this since it happened when I was on thin ice with the banhammer and I got no ban afterwards. It sounds like it’s much more likely on your end.

Well, I should have said that even after doing another match after the dc, I did not get banned in that situation. Also, at that time it was a few matches after I just got off of an 8 hour ban.

not this update bu the one before i got banned for 7 days because of there severs repeatedly booting me out of the match before the game would even start. Quite often its more their side then your own connection, i still got the bann hammer tho

Ok I said I understand the warzone because I hate warzone but the arena I rarely leave the games honestly so don’t say it’s deserved when it’s mainly on the games end that adds it up so I’ll try simplify it for you let say I get 5 times of dnfs and I get banned I leave three but I have two left but I get kicked because of the serves twice but that wasn’t me leaving that was the games fault right but I just got banned when I should’ve been able to leave two more games before getting rightfully banned js

You don’t get banned for quitting 1 game. I can grantee without looking into your game history that around the time of your ban there will be more than 1 DNF there

He has 36 DNF’s since 6/28. So yeah, definitely not “quitting 1 game”.
@OP…please, for the love of all that’s holy and pure, put a comma or a period SOMEWHERE in that wall of text. Even just one might make it less cumbersome and easier to read.
As for your ban, deal with it. You quit, you get banned. I’ve had a few disconnects in the last couple of weeks, and yet I’m still able to play and haven’t suffered a quit ban ever. Stop quitting, and your issue will resolve itself.

If it keeps happening you either have a terrible internet connection, at which point you should get a better one because you REALLY shouldn’t be playing online multiplayer games, or your intentionally disconnecting the connection, at which point the ban is deserved because your still quitting out games. 343i do think about these things when they designed the ban hammer

I had my first disconnect last week and the game doesn’t appear in my history at all. Curious.
Well I never left the game but I did get disconnected mid game at least 5 times yesterday during maybe 30 or so matches and never got a ban.
I thought I could go to the bathroom for a minute before the next match started and when I came back got the ‘‘wake up John’’ message.
Though I wish the game wouldn’t kick you out so quickly for inactivity. Should be a minute at least for inactivity. Sometimes you just gotta go :). A minute would give you enough to cover that and be back.
