I don’t get why we have to worry about cheating and exploits now. The ban hammer can no detect mods, network manipulation, dreamers, and exploits to get a lot of credits/and or rank increase unnaturally high.
So what if accounts are bought and sold? Let the morons be morons because it doesn’t really affect the rest of us.
Fight cheating and punish those who try rather than making all of us suffer.
Bragging rights is one of the biggest things thatcseperate Halo from the rest if fmthe shooters. It wasn’t in Reach at all which made it way less fun. It needs to be in this game.
Halo 4 is going in the same direction as Halo: Reach in terms of trying to eliminate “bragging rights” and “incentive” only to keep people from cheating.
It doesn’t work, and it will never work. People will always find ways to manipulate the system. Punishing everyone simply because some folk want to play the game a different, unintended way is no way to make everyone happy.
It’s very depressing to see that Halo 4 is being influenced much more by Reach than any other previous Halo game like Halo 3 or even Halo 2.

Elimination of incentives doesn’t keep people from cheating, it simply makes it less rewarding for cheaters. Thus, players are less apt to cheat.
Cheating?! … define it! there are so many ways to cheat in reach without mods. ever play zombies in board walk where people find a way to get behind the glass or stand on the flag pole?! my daughter “15 years old” can’t figure out how to kill those players and she has no fun playing for that reason.I am always directing her to griff ball or some other game type where players can exploit the map as easily.

Letting cheaters carry on playing the game and enjoying themselves is not exactly a punishment, lol.
