In the Orc…I mean Brute’s little tirade at the end of the gameplay reveal, he states that the ring is already under the control of the Banished…“and soon, the auditorium as well”…
The auditorium, also the Harbinger…who dat?

Harbinger? No clue. Auditorium? No clue, but given auditoriums have connotations with theaters, performances, and concerts, and this last one is what I focus on, I assume it relates to the distribution of geas or genesongs across the Halo. Geas have music-based terms ascribed to them like pitch, so my guess if the Banished want inside to harness it so they can give themselves the same geas humans have so they can easily access Forerunner tech.
That’s my guess.
One of the definitions of harbinger is, “a forerunner of something” and the other is "a person or thing that announces or signals the approach of another. Looking at this, it be a forerunner or even the warden. Its pressumed the banished are hunting down humanity, and the only 2 I know that are forerunner of origin that despise/dislike humanity are the Didact and the Warden.
I always have wondered who the warden is, why cortana was chosen to hold the mantle when it was clearly left to humanity with most if not all monitors knowing, and why the Warden was so adamant that Chief got nowhere near cortana in 5.
The last we saw, the didact was composed (in escalation). The composer sends the data to the domain, chief implied the didact may not be dead. Could he be the mastermind behind the strings? I mean, conversation in 5 said that the meridian may be the first guardian cortana woke intentionaly. But Guardians were waking before that, in at least 5 human colonies. Who woke them before cortana did.
About the auditorium, someone said it could be forerunner related. But they say its another word for theatre, now in the past Religion and the theatre didn’t mixed. Especially with Christianity. The forerunner have heavy religious influence, it would be odd to put something that was at odds with the church as forerunner if the forerunners are based of it. Wouldn’t it. Also the banished seem allied with or at peace with the created forces, why would they a very valuable artifact to the dreated. Unless it isn’t forerunner but something human or perhaps something that threatens the balance of the war. I don’t what but who knows?

Interesting - I thought the geas was something different though? I thought Humans could use Forerunner tech due to specific genes, as both were created by the Precursors.

God knows - either way, it seems just as/ more important than controlling an entire Halo ring.
He says “The ring is already under our control, soon the Auditorium as well.” as if they’re 2 separate things. I wonder if the auditorium will be a level that takes us off the ring.

Maybe the auditorium is the ark since they don’t control it yet. Enter spirit of fire in halo infinite
I think the auditorium is almost certainly the Halo’s control room right? That’s what I assumed when I first heard it.
Harbinger is one of 3 things in my eyes, its either Cortana (though her ideology really goes against the banished), it’s another mercenary faction, or its the didact. Given harbinger is also a replacement for forerunner/precursor, my money is on the latter. If the didact comes back, it’s plausible he will eject Cortana from the domain, which would end her created arc (somewhat) and re-establish the didact arc (more interesting in my eyes). If we really want to throw in a curveball, it could be mendicate Bias, though I find it unlikely given they want to make atonement for their past actions.

I get what you’re saying but if they have control of the ring wouldn’t they technically already have full control?

Maybe a different Ark since the name is different. Or a ship of some kind, idk.
Maybe the Auditorium is where the precursors handed out the mantle of responsibility?
