The Audio

I understand that the whole purpose of Halo: CEA was to recreate the visual appearance of Halo: CE (Wonderful job) But there are things they should have “fixed”.

Case in point: The Audio

Everytime you load a campaign mission from a saved-game the audio from the game starts up while your in the Halo Loading screen. To me it is extremely annoying. Everything is repeated.

Most of the time you start a campaign mission the title screen music continues to play in the loading screen then abruptly stops.

It just seems cheap. Halo: Reach had a great audio interface. They could’ve simply put a few faders on the title screen and it would fix it.

Actually, no. Smooth interfaces were just as relevant 10 years ago as they are today.

The real culprit is just that CEA’s menu sound system was poorly made. CE’s is fine; menu audio isn’t an issue that they “should have fixed,” it’s something that they shouldn’t have broken.
