Jesus Christ. I’ve played this mission 7x with my partner. We are both very good at HW2 and we can’t beat this level. We are fine sort of until the very end when you have to keep the 3 thingies from being overrun with flood. There’s no way we can beat this. We get pummeled by the leader units and other units in general. Has anyone tried this mission legendary co op and beaten it? Any tips?
Get and keep and honor guard alive till the end and keep him far from the area at the end. You cannot fail the mission if you have a unit alive. It will take some time but you need spam elite rangers and run in circles as best you can until they die. If you lose all units, send the honor guard towards the final area until you can make some more rangers and then have him retreat. Again, this will take awhile to finish but you can’t fail using this method.

I found keeping vordius running in a circle while my partner spammed units was pretty good.

The best way is to summon a few Jump Brute and spam Rangers. Though Abominations move fast, they priortize the locks above your army so run clockwise around while dislodging the locks but dont travel to more than half way as they will either wait for you or even travel the opposite direction. If done right, you will find the Abominations are the least of your problems.
