When Shepard destroyed the Reapers, the shockwave decimated the Elite and Brute homeworlds. Their entire populations were killed outright, The Storm are the last Elites left in the galaxy.
Where was this information that I clearly missed? Must be in a book I don’t have.
Arby and the Elites that allied with the UNSC against the Covenant went back to Sanghelios (Elites’ homeworld) after the war was over. No one knows what happened to the Brutes or the Prophets’ race.

The Elites searched and exterminated any Brute they found. The Arbiter is trying to keep Sangheilios under control.
