It was too weak and they nerfed it, so that body shots do even less than they already did in favor of giving it precision damage. The AR is not a precision weapon, and I strongly disagree with the changes they made to it.
I guess that was the thing that made me really enjoy H5’s AR. I took out so many opponents top mid on Stasis with it. I loved out dueling an opponent with a magnum. It was a challenge for sure but felt so rewarding, and so much better than using a spray and pray weapon.
God this just makes me feel like Halo 2 all over again. Whole noob combo debacle all over again, only you’re not as good as you think you are if you die to an ar so much when half decent player could kill an ar user in most engagements. Anything you can’t outplay immediately becomes op.
