“The Answer” is powerful. Incredibly. However, upon using a “Prophet’s Bane,” which I was recently given from a Gold pack, I noticed something.
With a charge of 100%, the “Prophet’s Bane” can kill a maximum of ten people before dying. “The Answer” can kill well more than ten people. Yet, it is way more common than, and costs as much in a WZ session as a “Prophet’s Bane.” Even though it is more powerful in this manner, the “Prophet’s Bane” is easier to use as a result of its intrinsic active camo. I was wondering which people prefer to use: the ranged heavy-hitter with more killing-spree potential, or the easy-to-use sword with bonus speed and camo with less killing-spree potential.

Prophet´s Bane is my favourite mythic req weapon. It´s just too much fun to sneak behind a sniper and assasinate him with the sword… and of course -Yoink!- him ^^
I’d prefer anewer simply for its utility.
I’ve never used a Prophet’s Bane (so take my opinion with a grain of salt if you want) but I still think The Answer would be better overall as it has a much larger ammo capacity, can be used in short to long distance and is a lot more common as a REQ weapon.
When you have The Answer, the game feels like a point-and-click adventure. You just point, and click, and then they’re all dead.
One of these weapons acts like a sword but with auto camo.
The other is basically a handheld ONI warthog turret with massive pushback, incredible damage output at just about any range and a decent magazine and ammo reserve size.
The correct answer IS the answer

if you can spot who holds the bane, with the anwser is the solution
unless you know, the sword is already down your back
The answer, makes you feel like rambo killing everyone.
i prefer my new rocket saw from forge
I love the slow methodical RoF of the answer
It depends. The Answer is powerful, but you’re visible and susceptible to sniper headshots, or enemy BR fire etc. Whereas with the Prophet’s Bane you can remain hidden and sneak around a base taking people out and biding your time. It depends what you want to do and how you want to play.
To me that’s not even a question, the answer is just extremely powerful. I do have a prophets bane hanging around in my collection which I have yet to use, so I can’t state my opinion it. The Answer would definintly be my choice, but the almighty prophets bane would be so fun to use!
why not both.
Its the answer to my problems
The Answer I would choose normally but I like playing sneaky so Bane, but The Answer is something I would use if I wanted to clean out a place.

I’ll call in the bane and take your answer and then I will have both. Actually did that the other day on Darkstar.
I’ve always thought the sword is strongest with speed boost and the hammer does better with camo but sword and camo are a weak combo. I always get spotted by all sorts when using sword and camo from standing still at great distances but camo and hammer doesn’t get spotted the same.
