I’ve been grinding for that set ever since I first laid eyes on it, when I was level 10, on an enemy Spartan.
And people who already have the set get 2 XP boosts. That’s it. Not another Mythic set. Just XP.
Does this upset anyone else?
It’s kind of frustrating, I wish they linked a special mark 4 or 5 armour if you beat the game on legendary difficulty, like Halo 4. Now it’s meaningless.

I literally unlocked it last night after 112 levels of grinding and got the Mark IV armor using my last free WZFF pack. I’m quite steamed tight now since in exchange for already having the MK IV, I essentially get 500 rp in its place.

I was disappointed with just xp boost I was hoping for a new emblem or weapon skins

I’m more insulted than upset, this, a Req Pack, is what 343 views as worthy of celebrating 15 years of Halo? What, they couldn’t make a map like Blood Gulch, Ascension, or Valhalla for this occasion?
Not me. I don’t see the point in fretting over pixels. Especially since it doesn’t take away your ability to use the armor set. It’s not like your Mark IV unlocks got sent to another player.

Yeah really 343 seems to be better at thinking with their paychecks rather than their brains as of late.

Should of been a MCC playlist update to honor CE. A CE BTB playlist and a 4vs4 playlist as well.

Calm down guys, wait for the stream tonight! Don’t set yourself high expectation it’s better that way. Maybe stream will be as bad as this REQ packs, but we’ll see.

Personally, no. Besides, it’s not like armor means anything in Halo 5. Because of the REQ system, none of it is actually symbolic of any kind of achievement, aside from Achilles.
Oh, and I see this as 343 admitting that Mark V Alpha looks almost nothing like the original Mark V, or else I bet they would have given that out instead.
I have Mark IV, and I don’t give a -Yoink-. Let them have it. The rest of the armor in the game is crap anyway; now everyone can have at least one decent set of armor in their collection.
As you can see I am currently digging Mark IV (with the Mark V armour) and I cannot stress how disappointed I feel. I grinded for that armour since DECEMBER last year. And when I got it a couple of months ago I felt extremely happy. But this pack feels like a kick in the balls to me and every other person who grinded for that armour since some noob can wear it. I am very disappointed in 343 Industries. I also feel partially insulted that 343 decides to celebrate 15 years of halo… with a req pack. Seriously?!? Not even a birthday cake emblem???
I think the pack was appropriate for what it was for by giving us the classic weapon REQs, but not adding an emblem seems like a missed opportunity.
Everybody gets to look cool, and people complain? Come on, OP. Let everybody have some fun. It’s the 15th anniversary.
We can actually look like Spartans as a whole, again.

A cake emblem makes sense and would of been funny …WZT makes no sense at all to have it. A true classic playlist aka no SA would of made much more sense.
Edit: I’ve seen some posts saying a remake of one of the old maps would of been nice. Well they are releasing a whole bunch of Forge Halo 1 CE Maps later today. A better idea would been to release a few remade Maps from Halo CE that would be developer made like how they redid the Halo 4 Map Haven into Mercy.

It’s a RNG system a “noob” can get lucky and get the set right away anyways.
I don’t get why some have to be so dramatic about these packs. I feel they really should have at least done an emblem as well but do the emblems even really matter? I know I don’t pay attention to then hardly. it was an alright pack
