-Giving em some new holes.
-Introducing them to the business end of my gun.
-Adding them to the checklist of species who hate me.
-Turning their hide into the latest fashion trend
-Aerating their face
-Stealing and using their technology against them (like stabbing someone with their knife)

Machines are are NOT compelling enemies. Fighting lifeless metal frames is NOT fun. Not fun enough to base an entire game off them.

Forerunner Artificial technology is anything but lifeless, if they could portray them properly in game they would be the metallic version of the flood in the area of shape-shifting, intricacy and destruction not consumption.
I want to fight giant turkeys and squids.
How in the world are AI’s a threat to the universe? Not to mention the Evil is new which rules out the forerunners.

On topic: The parts in ‘Primordium’ refering to the Composer are kind of confusing. I’m still not sure if I understand the passage that talks about the Didact visiting the Lord of Admirals with the Composer.
