Is zero. Nada. You can sell a gun leychain for one dollar and they still say its not worth it. A new armor with cool coatinf for 20 and they still say it isnt worth it. Add an amazing animating emblem on all your weapins, nametag and Master Chief AI for same price of 20 bucks and it is not worth it.
Or better yet, repeatedly spent 5 bucks for 5000 credits, and open a lootbox that just gives you an emblem or one time use weapons in-game. Players found that reasonable back in 2015 Halo 5.
Halo players will just complain that everything should have been in the game to begin with to be earned. There is no way 343i win. Just want the game to go back to grindfest of 2010. It is what it is

I do not support the store and the FTP model and have not spent a penny outside of the ÂŁ7.99 battlepass.
If all players did the same 343 would get the message and change their model.
Unfortunately loads of players have spent thousands on the store already
I’m more pissed at the players than 343 right now
Edit: was damn tempted by those cat ears though

Go ahead and delete this post troll. If you’re happy to spend 20 dollars on a 3d model with a voice and some pngs then do it. Why make a post bashing the entire community because you have money to waste

Yeah $20 for a “cool” armor coating that you can’t even equip kill effects from your BP to. Miss me. HaLo pLaYeRs wiLl jUsT cOmPlAiN. No. Maybe we’d just like to go back to complaining about BR spread and melee systems. Oh wait. You mean we HAVE to do that AND buy armor we got for free?
Where TF were you in 2007? Not on Bungle.net I assure you. Go keep lapping up this crap they throw in your lap time and time again.

I hate the game in its current state. I hope it wont take several years to fix like how the mcc did. I am an onyx player, played every title and mcc. This Halo is strike 3 for 343 unless they fix their problems FAST. Shouting and plugging yout ears in a burning house will not put out the fire, so tell us more about how happy you are to shill and waste money on features that used to be built into a $60 experience, where you got everything for $60, instead of having to spend a projected $1035 in microtransactions in the store, with points preditorilly priced to force you into buying more than you need, with funny money amounts left over. For reference, Halo reach came out 11 years ago and was feature complete. This isn’t like 343 made their first halo game, they keep looking through their wide universe with a narrow lens for some reason, the T for Teen rating definitely didn’t help them here.

Funny how he still hasn’t explained why I should pay $20 for a single AI/announcer, the color green, and an emblem when I could get 3 announcers for $10 in a previous game.
Halo 5 had better deals than this

This. Don’t know about you, but I am old enough to remember when even mobile games weren’t saturated with all these microtransactions. I still remember paying these games 5€, and that was it. I actually miss many of these. Good times, I guess.

Halo 5 & Halo Reach let’s you earn Req Points & Credits by “Playing the game”, Halo 5 was controversial but at least it wasn’t Hard Paywalled & Reach because it gave you the freedom to buy what you wanted instead of paying $20 for Armor we earned for free including colours as well
Go be a simpleton somewhere else

put every reach armor in the battlepass and give the battlepass to those who paid full price for the game. that’s really not a lot to ask for, its how halo has always worked. 343i would still get to make a ton of money off of cosmetic sales.
no they didn’t. nobody liked that.
how is it not a grindfest already? because you can pay to instantly unlock store cosmetics?
do you know how money is acquired IRL??
Lwague of legends 20 bucks is a reskin and different effects. No ward, icon or banner. (If you know what any of those means) There were no bundles.
In truth, F2P games gain more money than the past did. The only reason why you complain here is because you compare it to how it was in the past. While in Halo, you get bundles the best they can for 20 or lower. Some are definitely not worth while I believe others are reasonable in terms of Halo. If you compare it to other F2P games, Infinite’s prices and worths are equivalent to many other game’s shops.
It was 3 years later did you gain 3 AI’s for 10 dollars. Never again will you get that on Halo 5?
Likely will the vast 10 years can you get 3x the AI announcers than Halo 5? Ever though of that? No? oh.
Halo 5 progression is as controversial as Infinites. You already have a battlepass free in Infinite. Its not motivatively rewarding, but it gives you what you want versus Halo 5’s RNG. You actually had to atrategize what you bought in 5 to increase your chance to get better RNG rewards from Bronze, silver and gold packs. A simpleton could even realize that was not a better system.
Even Halo Reach. Grinding for a few credits every game until you gain enough to buy a dingle piece is most as engaging of a system for rewards. In a time now, its more repetitive versus many other game’s progression and events.
What are you talking about? That made zero sense whatsoever.
This is nothing personal, it’s not directed at you OP, but This^ is 100% Hog Wash.
There is one thing on forums that bothers me the most about some people and that is enablers, but when people lie expressing their opinion that is literally only an opinion and nothing more as fact, trying to make themselves look good? That’s pretty damn sad and it is where you lose all credibility if that was your intention. I’ve seen so many people over the years trying to pass off this Hog Wash with gaming companies that it’s beyond ridiculous at this point.
Just saying, it shows how small-minded you actually are and you are only paying attention to what is right in front of your nose knowing it goes a hell of a lot deeper than what some people see. Sorry, that doesn’t work and it will never work…
-
343 literally has had since Halo 4 was in production to learn from their “mistakes”. That is over a decade, yet things are far worse off than Halo 4 at the moment. If you are not sure what I mean then ask.
-
343 outsourced their work. This means content should have been produced a lot faster and more quality work should have been applied to that content. Meaning paying attention to detail that it’s bright as day that that did not happen.
-
343 is a fairly good size studio compared to a studio like DE that does better work working on Warframe. Yet, 343 is considered a AAA gaming company.
-
343 has one of the biggest banks backing them up.
-
Using a psychological analyst to manipulate the player base making false promises to get players on board is a disgusting move.
-
343 literally lied to the player base face about what was to be expected. Why should they “win”? I don’t like or trust fake people and that is what 343 put themselves out to be. All talk, barely any action. In other words, (actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words.)
-
False, majority of the community literally does not feel that way, and to say a hand full the most is good cause to make this comment is actually laughable.
If you think 343 can never win, maybe it’s time for players to look at the actual problem. Why don’t you explain to everyone when in Halo’s history that Bungie or previous Halo’s 343 did turn the entire game into a selfish cash-grab game and base the entire game around it? I’ll wait…

You’re only having 3 announcers and never gonna get another update in Halo 5 after that announcer pack.
Infinite already has 6 AI announcers, increasing, through the next 10 years. Its so simple to get around.
That still doesn’t justify me paying 20 dollars when I could get 3 for 10.
Like, what?
What’s so different about this announcer compared to the voices of war pack that came out 5-6 years ago?

If it makes more than the models in the past, then should we not get more for our money? Which isn’t the case.
Consistency? Would you be playing Halo Infinite if they released a new update every 2-3 years? The only reason why you possibly did then was because of their “free” monthly updates. You wouldnt even consider 10 bucks now. Or rather pay more for a more consistent update.
Unless, you’re talking about worth. Then its all dependent on you personally. Vast part of the community bought cat ears for a heavy price. What will you buy?
That depends on what youre willing to play. In reach, it had a play activity count. Reach side modes had a drastic less activity than major modes. Example would be Slayer and Rumble pit, Stockpile, King of the hill. Slayer had 3x the activity than these 3 combined.
They only simplified by popularity.
