The amount of complaints is sad

I actually don’t think it’s that bad to be honest. 343i have had far worse receptions when releasing a new game.

Most of the complaints are valid, and no one has been overly critical of the core game play.

True :+1:t2: I don’t like actual restrictions of combining armor pieces. And I don’t like that colours are just mixed in palletes without possibility to edit them.

Yh here’s an example them Carter armour kit you an get right or emiles armour kit you can’t have the shoulder pieces, but you can have everything that’s on Jun but in your own flavour and to me that’s really weird

While there have definitely been people complaining just to complain, I have also seen alot of good constructive feedback. For instance one of the top complaints is around the progression and monetization model in Infinite, I myself have given some constructive feedback on how the devs can improve those systems.

In the short term remove more of the too difficult weekly challenges, add a match score to XP conversion system or a system that grants XP for in-game medals, lower store pricing, and give a small amount of store credits for each daily and weekly challenge completed.

Long term work on making a career progression system, improve future Battlepasses to have more cosmetics and less XP boosts and challenge swaps, improve customization to make colors and armor pieces work on more armor cores.

I would agree. But this is one point of view. The second point of view is comparison. If I can see what possibilities we have in other different games, then many complaints are justified.

The possibility to have realy unique personalized Spartan is just not there. We will never have unique character with this setup.

That is true yes, I loved the customization in halo reach

Yeah I do wish people would give constructive feedback, rather than just talking trash and swearing about the game. I think criticism is important to make it clear that there are problems, and people do in fact want them to be addressed, so that the devs at 343 can justify the time to make changes, but being super negative about it definitely doesn’t help.

What makes you think that.
I will repeat, if we continue to complain and ungrateful 343 will end up not listening to us anymore
What makes you think that?

Why do people have to be grateful? The game being free to play wasn’t done for our benefit, is was done to increase profits. People are unhappy with the way certain aspects of the game were handled, they have a right to be ungrateful. A consumer doesn’t have to be happy with a product.

That being said, I do think the core game is great. And I’m hopeful that with some changes this could be my favorite Halo game. That’s why I’m so vocal about voicing concerns. If I didn’t care, I’d leave. I didn’t care for Halo 4 as much. And Halo 5 felt like a totally different game which I could enjoy for what it was. This feels like Halo to me, and as such I truly care about the state of it. That doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful that they made a game with solid core mechanics (in my opinion). I am grateful for that.

You want complaints to stop, then don’t make terrible design choices that you know for a fact will turn people off. It’s not about being greatful. We all acted greatful when they knowingly mislead us about Halo 5’s story, we were all greatful when Halo 4 shipped with botched gameplay mechanics and next to zero content, and we were certainly greatful when they KNOWINGLY sold us master chief collection, which was one of the most pathetic launches in gaming history. Being “Greatful” hasn’t really gotten us anywhere with them. I’m happy they’ve attempted to make amends, redemption is real and we should all believe in it. That said… this game has one of the most vindictive, ill-concieved, greedy monetization features out there. Things are flat out just left out of the game, there’s zero progression and even some if the most basic design principles are utterly ignored. It ain’t about being greatful anymore. I’m tired of being an unpaid developer for them. You had your trial and error with H4, H5, and MCC. There should be zero confusion as to how this game should have been dealt with multiplayer wise, and the fact that these buffoons at Microsoft wanted this game launched a YEAR AGO is disgusting and downright baffling. Were they gonna just release a map and three guns? Who knows. All I know is, they made a fantastic system with MCC. Why TF isn’t infinite just mimicking that? Ridiculous. People have a right to complain.

the AR is definitely not the same, I switched between halo 3 in MCC as its my favourite Halo MP to this day and the AR in Infinite is a literaly automatic BR. It simply should not have zoomed in mechanic nor be a literal shredder of a weapon at the range it currently can reach.

Other than that, Im only leaving constructive criticisms in hope of change for the good and longevity of this MP as I’m loving it so far despite all of its downfalls.
