In 3 match searches the match hasn’t loaded up just been stuck at “setting up slayer” to then people get bored after 20 seconds and close the game, and because some genius thought it would be a fantastic idea to be unable to cancel searching you have to close the game, and reload it. Seriously who thought of that?!

If you expect a Beta to run flawlessly, you’re gonna have a bad time.
This isn’t a Beta fault, this is a server fault. Know the difference before you add comments, we all seen it was working perfectly fine one week for those who got it early.

They’re roughly 2/3rds into development, and have been able to do very little polishing and bug testing.
You know what a beta is, right?

The beta is still a part of the servers. Stress, glitches, bugs from the beta can affect the servers, which is the reason they do stress testing.

Yes, that’s how it works. Every game has its own individual beta, since it’s typically in a new engine with new code and new server and infrastructure as well as features. Similar to how even though World of Warcraft has been out for 10 years, each expansion and patch still has a beta.

And games that are 2 years from release, are far more stable. 12 months isn’t that long in the life cycle of a game development, you can’t justify that.
I haven’t had any issues finding matches. I find every match within 2 minutes of the last one. And I’m connected to some guys in Europe (based on the language they are speaking through their mic). I would say the connectivity in the Beta is much better than in the MCC.
