and no giving them pinpoint aim didnt fix them but made the issues with them more noticable, fix their little jitter dance they do and you’ll be going in the right direction
the AI is OK IMO 7.5/10 see how tey do at their max difficulty tommorow or whenever. But yes they have a few problems with them for sure
Their accuracy across the map is impressive lol. Other than that what are you taking about? I’m curious.

they for one reason or another jolt back and forth with no reason when they see an enemy thing flicking left and right when in a gun fight but with no limitations like the player has with subtle momentum
It’s a flight for easy bots. They stick together sometimes; sometimes there’s plenty of 1v1s. If you’re out of position or something you have a good chance of losing. Sometimes you have to dip, but mostly you get good runs with a little know how. Most people in my games are having 2-4 k/d games with different weapons. Some get multi kill medals some BR or Needler medals. Seems about right. Good mix of team pushes and 1v1s.
For what they are, they are designed pretty well, in my opinion. Easy bots.

Sometimes the AI just stop in place and shoot randomly. Or just look down and melee the floor. The AI really does need some work.

it seems they activated the difficulty increase a bit early as they seem to never miss now and always hit near the head

no they implemented the next difficulty on time they will do it again tommorow i believe if not sunday.
Trash as in like…they’re bad to practice against…or trash as in like broken, or what? That’s so vague. Have you played against these ODST Bots?? It’s first time my team didn’t get a Steaktacular…idk, dude…seems like they know what they’re doing against me.
Also…name ONE Halo game where the AI isn’t a little…derpy. It’s honestly part of the charm of the game at this point.

Yea these bots are bad and as you pointed out, sometimes it seems like they just change directions or just stop. I did notice their nades are pretty good though, thats how they get most of their few kills or when 2 of them see a single player - they are fairly accurate those first couple shots and then just kind of stop for some reason. Maybe by design as this is supposed to be the easiest AI. But I agree with you, even for the worst AI - they are bad. The worst halo players I know could likely get killing frenzys vs them, sprees for sure. They are .3 and .5 kd players in halo 3 mcc.

at no point does the AI do that in my matches they tend to stay together and beam those not within a pack themselves

I absolutely agree with you XD

That’s weird, good thing I was able to clip parts where they would shoot at nothing. I also have noticed they stay in tight groups sometimes.
Bots remind me of the Ai in gta snap and lasering the player even when you’re behind them. Although their grenades are very good sometimes they feel unavoidable. Hopefully they make bullets easier to see I can hardly tell if a bot is even shooting me half the time until my shield is gone.

Your grammar is super broken but it almost sounds like you think bots strafing is a bug and you’re mad they can do that. If that’s what you’re complaining about yikes bro. I love them. They are decent with nades, can strafe and crouch strafe, bob and weave, have good aim, and they run away if they get low health. They’re better than most of the people I get matched against in MCC lol.
Recruit was too easy.
Odst is so much fun! Still stomping them left and right bit its way more fun and dynamic!
I really wanna try against spartan bots now
The Normal AI was pretty easy, wouldn’t say the same for the new ODST Difficulty AI they just added in like a moment ago, had two pretty bad matches on the new map against them. Instead of going 20+ kills and like 0 deaths, i found myself now dying a fair share to them but it also might be the map, unlike the first map we had which i personally loved, this new one in the enclosed area I’m really not liking its design at all.

it is 100% the AI difficulty change not the map, their aim is now on par with ESporsts players

Heavy agree on this one. These bots are some of the best in Halo. granted they still have a bit of derpiness (got a clip of one jumping in one place, trying to get up a ledge), but other than that, they are extremely similar to regular players. I feel like it could actually fool me for real players slightly if I didn’t know they were bots.

We’re on ODST bots now, check the alpha.
