Dominion would be so much better if it wasn’t power weapon spam. Either remove on map power weapons or remove PD. Because all dominion amounts to right now is essentially IC slayer.

Dominion is a good idea and gametype. The power weapon spam is literally its only downfall.

Almost every game of BTIS I join, there is no way no navigate the map without getting my head blown off by a camo sniper. It feels like it’s gotten worse in my experience. I don’t play Big Team anymore though (quit recently), so I can forget about it.
Active Camo isn’t a bad equipment.
It’s just that its over used and spammed like a don’t know what with the DMR or snipers.
I’m trying to finish off my CTF mastery (28 wins to go) and the amount of Camo campers I see in games is staggering. Slows games on Ragnarok down to a crawl. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ…

Honestly I figured Dominion was a natural evolution from territories.
Ontopic, Active Camo snipes never really gave me much trouble in Dominion. Considering most terminals are indoors, I’ve never seen them as much of threat except a Base B on Longbow, the high ground gives them a slight advantage.
I never play BTB or Dominion, I’m not sure that I’ve ever been killed by an active camo sniper.
I play lots of BTB and some domionion here and there, I rarely see camo snipers.

If you want to play capture the flag without any active camo snipers play Lightning CTF in Action Sack.

That’s kind of the point.
But, if you mean you haven’t played against anyone who uses active camouflage then you must just be lucky. I played like twenty games of BTB to get my 50 and every single game had a couple of kids with camo (including me).

Really? It’s just soo plain. This just seems like a ‘i miss…’ for the sake of moaning, it’s the first time I’ve heard someone say “i miss territories” because there was nothing to it. Even halo reach’s Invasion was interesting. (which btw should return with i guess territories so at least we have the choice and it appeases one more person on the community).

Agreed. Dominion spices up the gameplay nicely. You don’t have to worry about people waiting until you bugger off and stealing it last minute. Vehicle pads are an ingenious idea for rewarding specific teams and turrets and shield make it seem that little bit more scifi which halo was starting to lose.
There’s nothing more satisfying than killing a camo camper. You see that little waviness to the air, maybe a brief flash of their gamertag, and BLAM! They ain’t hiding no more…
Correction I miss Halo 2 territories because it was plain, not only that it had your emblem on the flag the small details man.

On ragnorok you can always assume there will be a camo sniper/dmr’r at the pelican, base, or at the camping spot on the cliffside. So, no. Still see it every game. Still hate it with a passion.
