In the cutscene where Johnson is held captive to activate the ring. Why didn’t they just force him to activate it as soon as they had him captive by brute (haha Halo jokes) force. They only needed him to push the button. Could it be that it could sense his feelings and would only work if he were willing to activate it?
Each Installation is huge and it’s not as simple as firing a gun, otherwise Tartarus could’ve activated Delta Halo in less than a second. They all need to charge the energy before they can fire.
