the ABIRTER!

a week ago me and a few buddys had a “halo day” basically playing all halo games on legendary from start to finish in order.

when doing this i noticed that there was the “abirter” in halo wars. halo wars was placed around 20 years before halo ce. during harvest.

but, in halo 2 there is another abirter?

he was made arbirter because he failed to protect the original halo from destruction. if there was an abirter before halo2 it has to be a different one. my questions are why are there two abirters? and why did the first one become an abirter?

i feel this should be something explained in future games/books. if they have already gone over this and i missed it plz pm the link to it.

It is in the books. Here is a link to the information on the arbiter.

> The title of Arbiter is the highest possible honor bestowed upon a Covenant Sangheili by the Hierarchs during a time of need.

> “The Taming of the Hunters, the Grunt Rebellion. Were it not for the Arbiters, the Covenant would have broken long ago.”
> —Prophet of Mercy.

List of Arbiters

> Fal 'Chavamee - Arbiter during the period between the discovery of the Unggoy and the contact with humanity. 'Chavamee’s refusal to accept the Covenant religion led to the rank of Arbiter being converted into a badge of shame.

> Ripa 'Moramee - The seventeenth Arbiter in the line of Immaculate Succession who led Covenant forces on Harvest, Arcadia, and Shield 0459.

> Thel 'Vadam - Arbiter who quelled the heretics led by Sesa 'Refumee and later led the Covenant Separatists during the Great Schism.

Who is this “abirter” character? I must have missed him

ur troll = failure

Basicaly, the Arbiter is a rank given to an elite, along with the armour.

Ripa Moramee, if im not mistaken, was an arbiter during 2531 (Halo Wars), but he died at the hands of John Forge in the shield world. He was given the rank of arbiter during the book Halo: Genesis, which came with the limited edition of Halo Wars.

Thel Vadam is the arbier from Halo 2 and 3.

Apaerently there was an arbiter during the fall of reach but no more information is known.

I don’t really find a playable character in an Interactive Strategy board game to be reliable canon information. This is the only thing suggesting an Arbiter at the Battle of Reach and the Battle of Jericho VII.
