Call me old fashioned, but i’m not really too fussed about an AI talking to me when i’m playing multiplayer (Sorry Butler). I’m sure they will release some good ones in the future, but i think we should at least be able to just unequip them completely if we wish.

I agree you can turn off announcer volume, but then you cant hear Jeff calling double kill and stuff. They could easily create an AI called “Null” and just replace the audio files with blank audio. This way there would be zero added code. They also could also go with a minimalistic approach and just have small audio ques like beeps and chimes.
I loathe the AI right now and I cant stand them. It wouldnt be so bad if they had a more toned down AI but they are all over the top…even butlr is overtop I dont want him to go “uuuuhhhhh Rooockkkeetttsss” everytime I get a kill with rocket launcher.

I wish I could just play Halo without the circus, AI voices are generally annoying, along with kill effects, kind of why in mcc mp I turned off cosmetics and enjoyed it more.
But it’s ft2, so doubt there will be a toggle button, I would actually pay for a toggle button lol, maybe 343 could add it to the store
