I posted this on another thread and someone asked me to make my own thread about it (ill just repost what i put on that thread)

I noticed something i was going to make a thread about but ill post it here instead because its the same topic(ish), i was doing a run through the level Keys and watched the terminal again and something seemed strange to me <mark>if you watch at around 50- 55 seconds</mark> theres something at the top of the screen that (at least to me) doesn’t look like a flood watching the marines trying to escape, it seems strange becuase its not attacking, just observing and isn’t hulking over like a combat form. I think im just going to be called an idiot but im right (in that its not flood), brilliant.

I think its something other than the flood. Maybe even the Diadact, considering 343GS saying that “he may still be here.” What does everyone else think?

it just seems wierd that its not joining in the attack, just standing there

that 2 or 3 seconds is so slowed down, most of the marines barely appear to do more than sway. I don’t know that a lack of motion in what would really be the blink of an eye is enough to make me jump to the conclusion that that exact figure is the Didact.

That’s an enormous, mind boggling jump in logic that I cannot even come close to taking.

oh im not saying its him, im just saying it may not be flood

At first I thought it could be a human figure watching, but looking at the Flood that’s jumping down, its could be just a Flood combat form.

if that’s a human, it needs to see a doctor immediately because its arms are 40% longer than they should be.

Forerunner, 2nd Terminal

Altough I may be wrong (Probaly am), we almost certainly know the Diadact is still alive somehow, and even if it isnt the Diadact it still doesnt look like flood, it isnt deformed enough our out of shape.

looks kinda alike but the arms dont look ‘humanoid’ enough to be forerunner imo, but also in game the combat forms normally have one massive arm and one thats a normalish size while its arms look about the same size. and again it looks like its standing straight, while combat forms look kinda hunched over

I think it’s nothing from the ordinary. Take into consideration the style of animation used for these terminal vid’s. It looks very much like every other form in the vid, & the fact that it’s not moving (or dosn’t appear to be), is just how it’s been animated :slight_smile:

I really don’t think it’s meant to be of any importance. It’s just something (likely flood) that has less detail due to it being in the background.
