The 3 BIG problems in WZ

The bases have to be the dumbest thing ever everytime I have a BAD game its because my team is trapped in this stupid struggle over a base. Cause when the enemy team gets the other two and there bent on getting the third one so the can core/farm you. I have to ask what’s the point in that? Because when you play like that all you’ve done is play a game of slayer and if that’s what you want then why don’t you just go play ranked slayer? WZ is supposed to be about the reqs and fighting over the A.I. not who can get all three bases and end the game before anybody even makes it to req level 5 or 6 I just mean WHY!!!? :unamused:

WZ has always been one big Slayer game since killing the other team contributes to your team’s score. Taking the bases away would just put even more emphasis on killing the other team since they’d be worth more.

Its a lot better now than it was. The constant req build wasnt there so you would have 20+ min matches being farmed whily youre stuck at req level 1-2 the entire game. Wasnt great.

I personally love WarZone, but I can see your points. I’d like a few different pathways to get to each base.

They don’t have to take the bases away just the ability to capture them, if both teams had an even amount of bases across the WZ maps that the other team couldn’t go inside of, then no one gets spawn trapped in their base and both teams fight for kills and A.I. to score.

The way I think of it WZ could be done like Halo Wars both sides have one big base for vehicles and to smaller ones to the left and right of the big base. This would give both teams even control over maps and most of the fighting would be over objectives or A.I.

An underground route would be interesting in my opinion. Would be difficult to pull off, though.

Skirmish at Darkstar has some underground pathways, and in some of the larger bases there is definitely room for those paths to connect. It doesn’t make as much sense for the armories though, they’re too small.

War zone is a big open map of slayer always has been. Almost like a battle in a war , maybe a war with two opposing sides fighting each other like humans vs the covenant or humans vs the forerunners maybe? Firefight is better if you want to battle A.I , I like how warzone plays often the balancing of teams is a bit off maybe your not getting very good team mates ? Also I do think the way they have implemented the a.i is not very good. Feels like it’s been stuck in last minute as an after thought.
