the 2nd disc ?

do we get a choice to download the 2nd disc on to our HDD or play from disc or is there no choice ?

The second disc behaves like the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack disc, it is just an install.

It all runs from disc one, so it is a mandatory install.

Once you’ve installed disc two, it is completely useless.

The way I understood it, was we download the multiplayer disc onto our drive and play both campaign and multiplayer from disc 1. Thats how I understand it, I may wrong.

Looks like my understanding was correct :stuck_out_tongue:

I think you have to install it to your HDD, unless you don’t want to play War Games, Forge, Spartan Ops or Theatre.

you must use disk two to download the content to your xbox and you can play everything from disk 1 after that. you have to download it to your xbox, i think that’s a good idea because multiplayer maps will load faster in matchmaking, less load times.

You will need to install it if you plan in doing multiplayer first. That’s what I heard.

Exactly what i needed to know. Thanks guys!

Just an install disc. Why are so many people having a problem with the concept of installing something? It’s like they don’t on computers or something.

I think thats a bit weird in my opinion, just seems drastic that you NEED 8GB to play multiplayer etc… Not an issue for me at the moment but it will put me down to 15GB

Unless its used to download the map packs as well but I doubt that.

The multiplayer only takes up 4 GB, you just need a hard drive that has at least 8 GB

I don’t see why they included a disc strictly for installing when they could have saved some money by making it a required download prompt when you attempted to enter matchmaking. Also, just to be clear, I will be able to install this on my 16gb flash drive, correct?

Ok good. That’s a lot better than what other games like battlefield do with 2 discs.

Just have a few gigabytes free on your xbox and you’ll be fine. The instillation is a one time thing.

I’m at 3.9 GB free I can loose a few things but idk if I’ll make it to 8GB
I have full games on my HDD and I want to keep them

Then buy a new Hard Drive, or get an Xbox 360 8GB USB stick. Doesn’t cost much at all, probably about €8, or less if you’re in the United States. I can get a 320GB Xbox 360 HDD for €60, probably even less if you’re in the United States.

Cleared that up. Gracias!

it’s the same setup as forza 4. if you want to play the stuff on disc 2 (war games- which includes spar ops, multiplayer, forge, and customs) then you have 2 download the 8gig disc 2 ur HDD. disc 2 is an info disc, disc 1 is the campaign and engine disc. so no disc 2 install no war games for u!

I was actually wondering about this, thanks!
