The 152 Grind - Do You Think It's Worth It?

For all my fellow Spartans grinding for max rank 152 in Halo 5… how are we feeling? Has the grind gotten the best of you or are you sticking with it for the legacy rewards in Infinite (Watchdog coating, weapon skins, etc.)? Given the rarity of these rewards, do you ultimately think the grind will be worth it when it’s all said and done?

Would love to hear your guys’ thoughts and stories on your journey (good or bad). Personally, I started this journey towards 152 at the beginning of this year and while I was discouraged with my progress at first, I stuck with it. Fast forward to today, and I’m proud at the progress I’ve made and even made some pretty great friends along the way. So while I’m not Rank 152 quite yet, I know I’ll look back and say yes - the grind was worth it.

For everybody going for max rank, I’m rooting for you. Infinite’s just around the corner and I hope we all make it.

I can say that the grind has been pretty enjoyable and something similar to what I have expected.

The main reasoning why I did reach the final rank in Halo 5 is simply due to the bragging rights, I enjoy the game and I have reached the final rank in 2 other Halo games.

I wish you luck with the grind. I moved to PC and no longer have an xbox to play Halo 5. I can play it using the Cloud feature on the Xbox app but it is of course not the most smooth way to play a game. I am at 112 and just personally don’t feel the drive to force myself to play such a crazy long amount of Halo 5 just to be able to color my Spartan white and black when in the previous games, I could from the start. Good luck though and I hope the rarity of the coating really makes it worth the grind.
