Sorry the armor doesn’t line up with what you were expecting. If anyone was grinding for 152 just to get the coating, then they should feel like it was a waste of time regardless. The coating is not an incentive for 152, it is a reward for the devoted.
I’m a 152 in H5. The Watchdog skin isn’t even showing up for me. I don’t care enough to try to get it fixed and even if it was available I probably wouldn’t equip it in protest for this rubbish BattlePass system.
Yeah, TheReachWay just uploaded a vid showing coatings not working, like Jorge’s. Even last night when Unyshek was playing with some other 343i employees they said that it should look like the promotional images.

Yeah I’m annoyed that we didn’t get the whiteish armor with the red visor. Imagine going in MP and ppl wonder “how did he get that skin”. Right now it doesn’t feel like anything special at all

This thinking is the exact problem. They showed us a skin. They said it was the reward. We got the skin. Its not what they showed us. Plain and simple its a lie just like Halo 5s marketing and people are justifiably mad

100% agree. I did not reach 152, but I saw the armor coating 343i advertised and what people got. They got absolutely crapped on. It is a horrible looking skin. It should be shiny/metallic just like the HCS skins and not worn out like the free REACH skins.

As a 152 that was extremely disappointed in the watchdog armor coating, I really hope they fix this. I’ve made a post here, on Reddit and on Twitter on day one about this trying to spread this enough for 343 to notice and do something about it. 152s keep the noise up until they give us what they showed.

Thank god I quit the grind at 151. It was such a chore playing Halo 5 and was not having any fun. Although I’ve found better looking skins, it suck for those who got to 152 for a coating that looks awful and not like what they showed before.
