This is a copy, mostly, of the email i sent 343i. Figured i’d post here as well for publicity on anyone else that experienced this issue.
Yesterday, 11/20/2014, the title update was released, but my issue is WHEN it was released. It wanted to install as soon as i finished “the great journey” level on Halo 2, on legendary difficulty, before i could press the “B” button to close the post-game score screen. now, if you will view the attached pictures you will see that i’ve completed all 15 levels on halo 2, and i was awarded, but not notified of, the achievement for beating all levels of halo 2 on the easy difficulty, only easy. this is not the case however, as i played it all on legendary, though the achievement progress says im missing one level.
now i am livid about this issue, really. i didn’t grid on all those covenant troops just to have my achievement unlock possibility to be frozen, for you see i have already replayed a level on legendary to see if this would “jump start” the achievement unlocking. but alas, this was not the case.
just, please, look at my xbox live account xbox one achievements on Halo: TMCC, and the game data i’ve done, and you will see all levels have been legitimately beaten on legendary difficulty, and i deserve the achievements. Do not make me regret spending my time completing your work of art, I am not a San 'Shyuum.
no response from 343i for me? im just supposed to hope this sorts itself out somehow? did i really spend 350 on a supercomputer and 60 on a 4 game disc just for personal disappointment? cmon…
hold the -Yoinking!- phone…my service record says i beat gravemind on halo 2 on EASY? are you Yoinking! me? i went through it on legendary, it didn’t give me the achievement for beating it on legendary, so i quickplayed it through on easy, and it saves THAT DATA? WTF!!!
This happened to me somewhat. But I don’t know which level i have to do again. Either gravemind because it glitched me out of the mission at the last bridge part, or High Charity because when I was watching the last cinematic, the update started.
Now unlike you, all my Halo 2 missions say I’ve done them on legendary, but my heroic and legendary achievements say 12/13 missions completed, and everytime I hit “go to appropriate lobby for this achievement” it takes me back to the beginning of the campaign mission heretic. total BS in my opinion. I would love to see which mission I actually need to redo because I really hope it’s not Gravemind.
I would also like all my achievements that I’ve complete and it says I haven’t, like The Truth and Reconciliation, etc. if 343i could look at my game data somehow to see what I’ve done, that would be awesome, cause I’m sitting on about 100-250 Gamerscore.
Happened to me the last mission of Halo CE. Beat everything on legendary, but after the final cutscene it said error connecting to host and i didnt get the acheivement. What the hell!!!
Cant play matchmaking… Cant play campaign without it being worthless/ futile.
Why did you have to -Yoink- up Bungies game 343i??? Worked a hell of a lot better 10 years ago, thats forsure.

Why is matchmaking at the top of their priorities? and im sure you’ve heard of the halo 4 being the old version of it before they made the halo 4 for 360 patch? its terrible. campaign is local to the console, and should be the easier fix, let alone that’s literally the whole point of the disc. why would they focus so little on the campaign bugs and glitches???
