I’ve spent the last few days replaying H1-H4 as a refresher course before jumping into Halo 5. Halo 1, 3, and 4 went fine, but Halo 2 has been an absolute joke. I played through the campaign CO-OP on legendary up to Gravemind. Followed the advice of some online guides and used unlimited ammo and scarab gun skulls to make some parts of the campaign easier. Finished playing for the day and check waypoint to see that I’ve never played H2. Read more guides and they start saying that the scarab gun skull voids progress for some people. Ok that sucks, but the next day I decided to solider on and played Gravemind to the end only using the unlimited ammo skull, and again no progress on waypoint. Great. Saw a comment on this forum somewhere that said playing on easy sometimes gets the game to re-sync with waypoint or something and unlocks progress. Gave it a shot and levels 1-4 actually unlocked but sometimes they disappear again on waypoint. Finally decide that I’ve sunk too much time and deserve this stupid armor so I decide to do it all again legit and restart Gravemind legendary no skulls…and the game freezes halfway through the level. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so frustrated. That’s it rant over.
