I only need to max out the boltshot and plasma pistol to complete all weapons commendations.
I will be on the battle field armed with a boltshot to be used as my primary. I will camp you all down until mastered. I look forward to all the hate messages.
I hope you all understand I have never used this weapon unless scavanged in an act of desparation and with 50k kills its time to exact revenge on all you boltshotting noobs.

Personally, though, there will be only one weapon I will not be finishing the commendation for, and, yes, that is the BS. I will not use it.
I have refused to use it since day one when a boltshotting chimp killed me in one shot from 30 metres away.

Stick to objective games and camp your objective seems like the beat advice. And to be honest, I’d prefer to have at least on player on my team doing that in objective as most of the time my team just rushes forwards and gets slaughtered, over and over again.

If you don’t care about W/L then go into FFA and hide behind corners all game that’s where I usually find the boltshot players anyway 
only care about win loss on objective. never gave a toss about k/d.
camping corners on slayer sounds good. shall I use promethean vision? never used it before either but sounds like it could work

Just kidding. But good luck with that. 
Baiting is better then camping when using the BS and is a more legitimate tactic while giving you more kills.

i have Weapon Mastery, have fun with the plasma pistol 
Besides the secondary fire’s obvious uses, the BS’s primary fire can be a good finisher with its headshot-capable rounds and supreme spam potential.
AR, BS, Pulse nades, Grenadier and Dexterity could be good for CQC.
Remember to prime your BS when you first spawn, the switch back to AR. Strip shields with your primary, your grenades, and melee, then whip out you secondary for the kill.

It’s just the best secondary to start with.
I like LordBojangles idea. I for one just have no desire to camp out with the BS. I’ve watched some gameplay of players doing that and it just looks boring to me. I want to max my weapons out with what I consider legitimate kills. It is more rewarding and fun.
Have fun though. I’ll keep an eye out for the hate messages.

I disagree. I think it depends on the situation. I have done fairly well with the pistol. It’s my favorite secondary.
The BS counts as a precision weapon so you can one shot kill people (with the headshot) without their shields. just use with ar and dexterity for best results
