So we’ve been in a dry spell with the lack of Halo content lately. Besides the Gears 5 stuff. But I was thinking. There’s a fully functional Tier 3 grenade launcher. Why hasn’t it ever been released? It would be awesome if we got a new pack with it in it.Perhaps, it comes with some weapon skins, that you don’t have to purchase.
Anyone else think it should be released? Or at least we should be given as to why it wasn’t?
Should we get some cool new community created weapon skins added?

Yeah I’m curious too what this third grenade launcher is. If it’s purely a hypothetical, how would this higher tier launcher work?

Yeah. It was leaked months and months ago by Gamecheat13. Gameplay and everything. There’s a lot of things that weren’t ever added.
Not everything that’s developed for games will always make it into the final game, there’s plenty example of this in Halo games over the years. Concepts are taken so far only to be dropped late game. That this model wasn’t included could mean a lot of things: they could ran out of time for a build, memory limitations, wasn’t tuned properly, they just didn’t want to include it… We don’t really need any explanations of it, if it was intended to be know about then they would have updated us on it. Closing this off as we don’t allow discussions around modded or leaked content.
