that moment when you hit "Thruster Pack" to evade

in an older game like Halo 4 but instead a hologram shoots out. XD

or trying to clamber onto something but fail at grabbing anything. :expressionless:

I will be doing this when I move on to other games. I feel your pain.

I used to use Thruster Pack in Halo 4 so it’s not a real hard adjustment but the Clambering…I forgot how to crouch jump properly!

I will not go back to the old Halo experience. It’s like taping your thumbs together and trying to still play.

It’s hard to play Destiny after a match of Halo when you can’t climb ledges and thruster pack out of the way.

Never played Destiny, but going from TitanFall back to Halo 4 was like having to rewire my hands…

I think it’s a testament to how natural H5’s mechanics are that we seem to confuse years of gaming experience after a few months of clamber and thruster.

True.

Good points, and this only seems natural for me when you have a game like Halo 5 with such incredible gameplay that becomes instinctive after a while.

Fortunately, Halo 5’s gameplay bored the hell out of me so quickly that I shouldn’t have any issues when I pick up CoD later this week. As for the classic Halos, those are like riding a bike. Our next Halo CE LAN party is next month, and I don’t anticipate any issues getting used to it again after CoD.

I adjusted fine when going back to Reach.

I’m so proud of you.

This happened to me after I played a ton of Titanfall then started playing Destiny. The movement in Destiny just felt so slow and floaty. Halo 5 is going to do the same thing when I go to play another game. But that’s just because the movement is soo00o0o0o0 good in Halo 5.

Or when you still die because the netcode is -Yoink- and LOS means nothing.
