These two achievements for The Library have been making me sick to my stomach for the past few days. I can’t take it anymore. It’s either a combat form with a needler or a shotgun, a nearby exploding carrier form, or a clusterbomb of grenades that explode near the one I threw that kill me.
Did anyone get these achievements yet and have any tips?
Yeah I have 1000/1000
Speed reader first. Look up the Halo classic 14 Library minute speed run. Do what he does. It works. Takes a couple tries to get the carrier form to pop you up over the wall but stick with it.
As for the other one. Just be very very slow. There is actually only 3 points where flood spawn infinitely. 2 times out of the low tunnels and once at the end index run.
Take your time kill everything. Shotty rockets helps. Bandana skull on for ammo. Do it on Heroic. No need to make it tougher on yourself. Also:
Dont EVER throw a grenade at close enemies, or when you around bodies. Chain reactions will get you.
Ill be honest I got it first shot. But I was meticulous and careful.

EDIT:: You can die and reload for the speed one. It doesnt have to be in one life! Also, any doors that are partially open, grenade jump through. Saves lots of time.
Here’s the issue. I’m trying to get both AT THE SAME TIME. That way I never have to play this abomination of a level ever again.
Don’t do both at one time, it’s virtually impossible not to die on Legendary.
Sounds like an issue you are making for yourself. You’ll never do it that way. You cant be meticulous And fast. You are going to die a lot.
Playing the level twice and guaranteeing 1 achievement a round is also less time consuming than repeatedly failing trying to get both. Its also much less frustrating.
My main advice. If you are frustrated or in a bad mood. Dont bother. Come back when you are fresh and ready to win. Do them one at a time. You’ll get it
Also, until all this crazyness about the new Halo Remake, I had no idea there was so much hate for the library. I loved it 10 years ago and I love it now.
