Actually I think that taking multiplayer maps and placing them into Spartan Ops is just a cheap way to not really give the consumers anything new.
Making entirely new scenarios would cost time and money.
Doing it this way all Microsoft has to do is take a map(that they already made), and just place some generic story over it = you really didn’t get anything in the end.

I love it!
Stomping huge amounts of hunters in mission 4 is so awesome!!

Exactly what I was thinking. I think even 3 chaps use the exact same map.
> Thanks for ruining this week of Spartan Ops for me before I even started! lol
I didn’t ruin any of the story or which maps, besides, the pictures of them are right in the chapter descriptions so…
Another thing to note is that while the play spaces may be the same, the way you approach the combat IS different. so that you get a new experience every time.

You never know with the internetz far better to defend and explain myself haha
Did you ever think that the multiplayer maps were based off the missions? Just like most maps are based off of areas in the campaign?
Companies usually release a map pack with around 3 maps every few months. Everyone is pretty much asking for 5 new maps every week. That’s damn near impossible especially with the size of 343s team.
I loved it. Ragnarok in Spartan Ops was beyond epic. Better than the Mantis segments in the campaign, in fact. I hope they do Adrift for a future S-OPs mission. It’s one of my favorite MP maps.

In this weeks episode, they use Valhalla, twice, in the same episode. Talk about being cheap and lazy. I was fine with them tweaking small sections of the campaign, those don’t get used much, but this, this is just pathetic.
