I bought the Halo 5 limited edition console 2015 and I was really planning to buy this console this year, I was so ready for it. Man, that thing sold in like 10 minutes… WHY DID HAVE TO BE IN THE SHOWER AT THAT MOMENT!
Anyways I don’t know a lot about limited editions, do they restock again and is there faster way I can get notified or is this it? Because that controller hits me in the soul.

They will be scalped soon after they get them in hands so you could just wait then… Couldn’t get a regular series X couldn’t get this one… This is pretty demoralizing… These should be like a made to order deal IMO but they won’t sell as many because the scalpers buy up the stock to drive the scarcity and people end up paying the extra because of FOMO… :’( I miss the good old days of physically being somewhere to get stuff.

Yeah, I mean at the rate they’ve been going with Series X, you might not see this console till 2022 now.
Sold out faster than that. I had it in my cart within 30 seconds and couldn’t check out.
I’ve been a longtime Halo fan since practically the very beginning. I’m beyond upset, actually emotionally distraught. I love this video game series, but it apparently doesn’t love me back.
God, I’m going to be inconsolable for the rest of the year.

I feel bad, I’ve been waiting for this moment to try to get it for months, I went to reserve it right away and it was already sold out. I have a feeling that the speculators have taken everything, as always the fans -Yoinking!- us.
I just want the controller lol. I never expected to get the console.
Personally, I think it’s a mistake that they’re even doing a limited edition console. How did they not know that they would all be scalped, which is exactly what happened. Check ebay and other sites, already up for $1k+.
This is heartbreaking! I really hope they give people a chance to buy it again.

Yeah, saw this too. One Buy It Now for $5,000 LOL. If they don’t have the stock, don’t make a limited console.
The answer to this problem is to keep making batches of this console untill sales slow down a lot. That said, I think I’ll just get a standard black one someday. Not a fan of this special edition at all, it’s too busy.
Not only are they sold out but i’m too poor to afford one anyway. Sighhh
I don’t know really want to get a “normal” series s/x and I’ve been waiting for the limited edition Halo console as I’ve gotten the other ones and like everybody else on here have said it was sold out in less than a minute. Beyond dumb!! I don’t recall this problem back with the Halo 3 limited edition or Halo reach or Halo 4 or Halo 5 so what the heck’s the problem with this?!?!? There’s no way in bloody hell I’m going to pay some idiot $1,000 for this online or something. They better make more of these because this is getting really ridiculous.

Sadly a lot of those orders were scalpers who have already put their pre orders on Ebay.
I think that if we want this console bad enough, there should be a “movement” of sorts started to get i343 / Microsoft’s attention on making a second “order run” where they gather orders, and then making the consoles.

I got it in my shopping cart but thats as far as I got. we just got to keep refreshing and hopefully they will do a digital restock. In the meantime, there has got to be a way of stopping these bots and scalpers
