That blood thread, where'd it go?!

If there’s one thing I hate it’s when I am typing a long reply on a thread that once I am about to post it, it friggin gets deleted or something!

Well, I am going to post my reply here because I sure as hell didn’t just waste my time for nothing. So, have a happy read about my rant. ;D

> Yes, there should be blood. Why cut it even out? It kept going downhill from CE. CE had loads and it added a nice feel to it.
>
> Reach in my opinion had the best looking blood. I don’t know about you guys, but I like seeing blood/gore when I kill my enemies. What else do you expect when you’re shooting someone? Glitter and sparks? This once was a -Yoink- mature game. Now it’s teen rated.
>
> Also, I really am annoyed by people saying “Doesn’t add anything to the gameplay, so meh”…
>
> Yeah, sure, that is true. Want to know what else doesn’t add to the gameplay? Textures and details on your weapons, armor and the maps we play on. But oh boy do people cry out friggin loud if a texture looks sloppy on one of these things, or if the grass doesn’t look right.
>
> Well guess what, it doesn’t add to the gameplay. Let’s get rid of all that stuff, right?
>
> Please… People can be so ignorant.
>
> Why is blood such a problem anyway? It adds to the experience! Making it look better and feel more immersive.
>
> So yes, add friggin blood. But, I don’t see 343 doing this. It’s like… they’re trying to make this whole series kid-friendly. |:[

You know, I was just thinking about starting a thread like this. Where is the blood? It was CLEARLY seen in previous versions of Halo 5. There was NO need to take it out. Seeing sparks and cartoon effects whenever I shoot my enemies, or dead bodies, is just really annoying and just not right.

Probably more of an attempt to appeal to a wider audience

It was moved to poll discussions.

Oh no, you got it wrong. There literally was a blood thread poll just a few minutes ago. Apparently it got deleted for whatever reason.

But I sure as hell didn’t want my post to go to waste after typing it. :stuck_out_tongue:

But anyways, you’re right!

The only time we shouldn’t be seeing blood is when we shoot Grunts with the skull on that causes confetti to fly from them.

Yeah, kids I guess.

What a shame…

Making the game rated Teen let’s parents feel better about buying the game for their younger kids, plus kids can’t buy M rated games without an adult.
So they boosted their sales by changing some small things.
I seriously didn’t even notice there was blood in Reach. A small thing like blood can’t compare to overall graphics and textures imo.

Oh really?

Damn… Well I guess we can have two threads. One poll, and this one for discussion in the Halo 5 section.

Damn, it’s kinda dumb to move these threads away in my opinion.

Well, maybe that’s just you. I however did notice the blood in Halo Reach.

And even Halo 3 had a decent amount > http://i47.tinypic.com/242szme.jpg

And then, Halo 5… Nothing. Or at least I haven’t seen any, yet.

Ugh, -Yoink-, sorry for the double post. I swear I thought I hit the edit button to make these links clickable. >_>

Kids ruin everything

Too bad you cant turn blood back on…

I would love to see tons of blood in Halo 5, heck, in CE there was a dismembered Elite. Why not in 5? Are they trying to make it more kid friendly or something? I’d love to have blood and gore in Halo, I’m a violent guy.

All other Halos were rated M for Mature 17+, Halo 5 is rated T for Teen 13+

Yeah IDK I didnt really notice it was gone to be honest with you. I dont need to see blood all over the place, the game is still the same to me.

its rated t thats why

Blood reminds me that when i shoot a person, I’m literally doing damage to an actual person somewhere.

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
LET THE GALAXY BUURRRNNNN!

Blood never stopped pre-teen kids from playing the old Halo games. :stuck_out_tongue:
