I prefer sprint beat downs to inconsistancy, AR death charging, Pre-TU Halo 3 melee system full of bugs and glitches that screws anyone after one melee fight, known as Bleed-through. AL I agree with. Jetpack also needs a nerf or become a pickup.
85% bloom. Most AAs as pick ups… but then we’d still have crappy matchmaking. A better game though.

It is important to remember that people like different stuff and are entitled to their own opinions, however, there is definitely a formula for good game play in a Halo game.
In response to reply, yes, I do like ZB. However, It is not where I die on this subject.
I am an MLG fan/playlist player, but I told you I enjoy rumble pit. I do not expect ZB to be in rumble and have no problem with you liking bloom. I would personally like ZB across the board, but the true problem is not with the bloom controversy.
I truly feel bad when I see these maps like uncaged because I know Halo has lost a lot of fans and I know that a better matchmaking could help whats left. For god sakes, that map and its game types are a perfect example of what is wrong.
People do not have the option to develop skills and good habits in game because these game types frustrate them and have them doing bull crap like armor lock and jet packing straight up. They don’t see people getting 5 shot kills and stuff so they never learn to be good.
Then again, why am I complaining. I go +15 every game without trying and am literally a GOD at this game in its current form due to the lack of formidable opponents and such.

Thats all Im really hoping for realistically. That and scrapping ALL the forge maps.
There are some beautiful maps out there…
I know that Pinnacle and Sanctuary must be favorites so obviously keep em, but maps like uncaged and the maps that I remember from Team Doubles (except Synapse) are abominations…absolute travesty it is.

I disliked ZB. Didn’t like that the pistol functions so similarly to the dmr.
Also… don’t use “literally” when using a metaphor. You cant literally be a God at anything. You cant literally be a God. The entire God thing is a metaphor for being unbeatable, or really good. And if metaphors became literal, then literature would be out a valuable device.

Why do you not take the time to point this out when similar remarks are aimed at people who prefer the TU or AR starts or AAs?

Instead of flaming you guys all day, I am going to politely disagree with you.
I’m tired of adding fuel to the fire.
Doesnt mean I am going to defend you guys though. I will just point out that they need to say it in a better way.
There’s a reason why civil and civilization kinda sound the same… being nice makes it easier to live with each other.
I agree that current matchmaking should just return to the classic Halo formula without Armor abilities or bloom, just like MLG did. It’s the easiest way of making most people happy.
We could still have a TU and a vanilla playlist, both would be a huge mix of gametypes. But all other competitive playlists should take an example of MLG, who didn’t even need to look into the game code to create the best gametype in Reach.
Another thread where people are going to fight about bloom, TU, To noob or not to noob…
We all know other people’s position, and we know we’ll never agree…
All I can say is i don’t think that continuous setting changes are good for the game pop.
Reach is at the middle of it’s life, leave it alone now.
Stop changing/adding/moddifiyng game settings, and leave people deal with it as it is.
I don’t like TU BTB, but I’ll deal with it.
The only thing this game needs is good new maps and fixed versions of existent ones, imo.
I went back to halo 3 you should do the same.!!!
