The playlist is lazy and only shows that 343 is very incompetent and lazy as it literally takes about 30 seconds to remove sprint and to remove the other spartan abilities. The req pack is a kick in the balls to everyone who grinded to get Mark IV (this includes myself) but the req system is completely RNG so that doesn’t really change much. I feel very disappointed

last night i play anniversary play list and I have enjoyed it
I played the Anniversary Playlist last night and thoroughly enjoyed it, sure it would of been nice to have no abilities/sprint. But still, it was fun!

This. Since it was added I’ve been grinding exclusively for Mk IV, so every noob that logged into Halo 5 or Waypoint yesterday now having access to it makes me a not very happy camper.
Exactly how I feel about the throwback playlist as well. It’s literally just a waste of population that could be playing better playlists.

While it lacks the classic gameplay I personally still think that it’s fun. I’m pretty sure this playlist is not intended to take the place of possible future playlists that could actually have the classic abilities, but is instead a limited time thing made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of halo.

If folks want gameplay as close to Halo CE as possible, just jump on MCC. This classic playlist gives a good dose of nostalgia while still offering the new flavor of Halo 5.
And BTW, the maps are undoubtedly the best CE Forge remakes ever.

MCC is plagued by a plethora of bugs, glitches and server issues. It also takes ages to find games if you live outside the U.S. (I live in Ireland).
I only played one match, and had fun doing it. I will play more this weekend if life allows me to.
