So I really enjoy Serina but I struggle with her mid game. Anyone have any advice specific for Serina? Maybe some leader power advice specifically. I feel disadvantaged against many others’ leaders abilities and I can’t quite pin down where I’m stuggling with her. Much appreciated.
What abilities do you usually select?
Serina isn’t exactly a great leader. I would say she’s the second worst UNSC, just ahead of Johnson. Your best bet is Cryotrooper spam.
LPs should be Mines, Cryotech Advances, Seismic, Cryo, ult drop.
If you’re playing serina don’t aim for mid-game, if you reach mid-game then she becomes almost worthless, you should aim to end the game ASAP as late game leaders will be able to combat you more in the late-game, however they take forever to get started. So aim for those leaders to rush first to take them out of the game.

I disagree she is one of my main picks when i play, as for advice only use her in teams, pump marines and your bison along with cryotech advances to cap power nodes,you want to get tech 2 asap cause kodiaks with cyrotech is beastly, also make sure to pickup an extra base sort of early if you get her economy good early shes real hard to beat later on. People i know love cyro troopers but i dont generally use them, but they are a great option if you want to change it up and attack. Personally though I would get tech 2 and kodiaks as fast as you can hahaha.
Oh and don’t use seismec blast unless the enemies are white from freezing, if they’re blue it doesn’t do that much damage.

Well mid game is where Serina struggles. But your leader power choices are good. Just looking at your build order I might go supply first and go fridge cryo troopers opening. After that just turtle with Kodiaks and slowly push up.
Alrighty then. I would like to thank you all for your advice and thoughts on Serina. It took me a while, but I finally figured her out with a handful of different strats and have officially reached onyx in 1v1s with my favorite leader. I didn’t even have to use cryotroopers :,)
