Not according to your game history have you played any games, since the update, like you are describing. In fact there were a few H2A games that you went negative, but you still won. I bet that was due to people NOT quitting even though you might not have been helping too much in those games. I don’t hear you complaining about those.

The game was ruined before. Now it’s worse.
Instead of all the bad players quitting we have bad players being idle giving the other team free kills.
halo 3 had quit penalties. so did halo reach. and halo 4 (If i remember correctly) so…i don’t see the problem here. Hell, I think i’d rather have quit penalties than end up the only one on my team because the rest of the team decided to rage quit.
Quit penalties apply when doing it twice in a row or more. Once out of the blue is considered fine due to having to leave and do things in life. There is many new gamers out playing and learning the game. You got ones who will try and play and is very hard for new ones to get good at it from the start.
I see no problem with it. Seeing many quickly quitting the game because they did not like the voting. That is annoying.
I don’t believe the idling players R due to the lock out to quitting. Just odd at times I remember seeing this a ton on forza 5. Just odd honestly y it happens often enough every so many games. I do think it is people leaving the game on and watching tv or doing something on the x1 leaving the game run in the background and forgetting they R even playing the game. Which is likely the problem.
So ya this has nothing to due to rage quitters but mostly ones that forget games can run in the background. Other words an update will eventually happen to quit idlers due to the game running in the background. A timer or something very touchy tho in what is right. Some honestly forget I have seen some halfway through start playing lol,
One thing about halo people R so obsessed about kill/death ratio they will rage quit of course theres other reasons but mainly due to this k/d halo 5 in the beta playing as a team you will win lonewolfing U can do fine or ok but likely a win playing together many halo players forget how to play together… and its sad. Glad halo 5 is putting more and more on team work
Of course in hindsight this could have gone much better for you in using the words like “hey I am looking for some people to game with on mcc sick of rage quitters and bad teams, and uneven teams.”
