Just wanna say a huge thank you to 343i for:

  • the same game intro’s over and over and over - the same voice overs at the start, mid and end game over and over and over - the same bosses in the exact same spots over and over and over - unbalanced games over and over and over - being able to snipe away bosses from literally the other side of the map - the same few -Yoink- maps - -Yoink- spawn locations - micro transactions and garbage reqs - a pathetic campaign - luck luster patches with garbage content - lack of game modes - an idiotic ranking system - allowing people to quit matches with little to no punishment - placing people into warzone matches where the team is literally getting curb stomped - not filling spots in arena matches when people quitI’m sure I’ve missed a lot but that’s just off the top of my head.
Seriously this game stinks of a rush job and the real kicker is the “free content” that’s being released. Majority of the content not even out yet should of been included from day 1. I can only imagine how dead this game would actually be if there was a price tag on the new maps, skins etc. In essence they couldn’t charge for the content even if they wanted to considering the state the game was released. It’s like I’ve purchased a car based on all the hype and promises only to find out it’s missing the interior. Now my -Yoink- is sore from getting reamed and I need to wait until I can actually drive the thing without feeling I’ve been penetrated repeatedly.
But you know what… we all really should be happy because they are releasing more skins… LIKE IT MATTERS!!!

You can only be so thankful for what you have if you have not experienced more.

i’m sure at this point 343 is hiring their talent from a highschool I/T class.

It’s ridiculous how they can’t add new game modes months after the initial release, never buying another game from this company again, full of idiots inside their headquarters.

They confirmed they didn’t start making game modes until close to launch…

Game modes dont magically appear they have to be made, balanced tested, rebalanced etc…

New modes confirmed for next month you impatient child

I agree, understandable of the play testing, balance to the game mode, fixing and tweaks but halo has been out officially since October 27 of last year. That’s practically 3 months, and in that time, we received a few social playlist along with some ones that… really no one asked for. Weekend rockets anyone? You can’t truly tell me that they are releasing Griftball soon which requires the graphic design and implement of new weapon and feature and yet still haven’t released a game mode that everyone has been asking for that, to be honest does not seem like it would take that much effort to create, I am talking about infection, everything is setup, i mean its practically breakout with energy swords except the switch of a perma death animation to a re spawn on the offensive team. It’s completely understandable why the community is ''Impatient’’ i mean, competitive playlist’s and unbalanced game modes to pick between? Day after day until we finally get some new playlists? It’s a slap in the face and everyone keeps defending it, I look from both perspectives but the community always seems to be put in the wrong, but on this one I feel they’re finally in the right.

Literally every past Halo, after 3 years of development time, has had more content at launch than Halo 5 did. We aren’t being impatient, we are demanding that we get what should have been in at launch in the next update or two

Yes and thats what we are getting. your cries and complaining about the lack of game-modes have been heard and answered. we are getting new game-modes next month and more the month after. so you can calm down now.

But how many more updates until we get what we paid for? They have heard our complaints, and STILL insist on giving us more gun camos and vehicles and things we just plain don’t care about. Would we still be complaining if they gave us way less REQs and more requested content in each update? Maybe a little, but it would make a huge difference if they stopped giving us new weapon variants and started giving us gamemodes, playlists, post-match medals, permanent social playlists, ranking system fixes, ect. with EVERY UPDATE

The more we complain about it, the more pressure 343 has to deliver at a faster rate and the more pressure they have to fix their mistakes with Halo 6. We can’t let Halo 5 become the standard for future Halo titles, and if it means more and more complaining until they get things right, then so be it. There is an expected standard with a Halo title, and we don’t expect that standard to be met over the course of roughly half a year or longer

When it comes to things that should have been in the game at launch, we don’t care about “they’re coming,” we expect “here they are”

I opened this thread expecting a troll post. I wasn’t disappointed. I love how almost all the negative things you have to say are either in every other game you will play(like multiplayer voices not changing or gameplay not being different every other game) or crying about things that aren’t an actual issue , you just suck. Get good scrub. And if you’re like me and aren’t the best, then suck it up buttercup. Good day.

The -Yoinking!- unbalanced teams…
343 Should’ve gotten this fixed.

yes and thats what they are doing. they can give us both Reqs and Game-modes in the same update and work on them at the same time. this is a large studio not a small man team. they can get more things done then you think or want to believe. they are bringing game-modes in be happy for that.

And yet, what should have been in at launch is STILL not in the game, and probably won’t all be in by even February’s update. Correct, they have a large team, so what’s their excuse? I mean, how much time can it take to make a post-game medals screen?

It’s not that they can’t make both at the same time, it’s that they need to prioritize what fans are asking for and get those out faster. Almost no one on these forums will mind if a future update lacks the same amount of REQs as before but gives us what we’ve been asking for all along instead

Also, just saying, they ended up finally making making the Chief Collection playable. Guess we should just be happy for that? No, it was unacceptable, like giving us half a game, and leaving out some of our favorite things at launch like Forge and Infection, after 3 years of development
