It’s not good news, but it’s best for the game and the franchise as a whole. I am disappointed, but I understand. I can only imagine the challenges the pandemic has introduced to the development process. It would have been a miracle to release Halo Infinite on schedule in the midst of COVID-19 without making sacrifices to 343i’s full vision for the “rebirth” of Halo.

Keep striving to deliver the best Halo game you can, but stay safe, and give yourself the time to get it right.
