Thank you 343 for making it impossible for me to rank up. I constantly match platinum players and fire teams yet I get that one newbie to the game who ends up going 0 and 12 
I mean no offence but now I can’t rank up, I’ve gone from around gold/platinum to the bottom ends of silver. The whole matching that one smurf every few games who destroys your team every few games doesn’t help either.
Before anyone suggests oh just get a fire team or play with friends, all my friends now hate halo and I just want to get on and have a few games to just relax and chill. Yes it’s ranked but why should I want to get a full sweaty fire team just to be able to rank up, doesn’t make much sense… I constantly get messages after games saying “get a smurf”, “I hate you” or “halo is dying because of people like you”.
Sometimes I just get put on the wrong server completely and usually 1 or 2 other people also lag out that also gets annoying, sorry to everyone who bothered to read this but not to sure what I can do soon I’ll be matching bronzes and no offence to them but it would not be fair
Well… you aren’t going to be able to “just relax and chill” in ranked, especially Halo 5’s ranked, which is designed to be super sweaty. There are plenty of casual game modes for you to play, like BTB, Fiesta, Action Sack, Warzone, or you could use the custom browser to find something fun. Sorry, but I have little sympathy for someone who knows the games’ population allows for poor matching, goes in solo, expects to ‘relax’ and then complains when ranked arena doesn’t go their way.
As for the lag/server stuff, that I do feel for, that’s a genuine issue.

Actually it makes perfect sense. Ranking up isn’t supposed to be a easy task. Playing a few games to “relax and chill” is spiritually the polar opposite of trying to rank up.
You should have a read of Josh Menke’s matchmaking updates, as he does a good job of explaining the complexities of the system and why it isn’t perfect. Essentially, alot of bad/new players actually play ranked because of the more stringent matchmaking, because social playlists are so open that they’re getting stomped often by good players in the social playlists. And because of that, there is an increased chance that you can get matched with such players in ranked. So if you want to rank up, coordinating with a team really is your safest bet, as solo queuing can make that difficult. Alternatively, if you’re looking for fairer matches just so that you can play, ranked may be a better option than social.
I want to casually rank up… That’s new… Ranking up is supposed to be sweaty. Yes you should need a team to rank up in ranked. Playing with randoms is going to get you random results. I will only rank in FFA myself because of that.

Can the noobs stop write in forums about the ranks. really, I going from platinum 5 to diamond 5 alone because I try help my teammates and play good. now I am short to onyx but now I have and help from friends. but the reason make me angry is that the noobs want to play and relax in rank playlist pls go die, if you want to play for relax social and customs. if you want rank up learn play better and find friends to play with you. END!!!
