To those of you that lost your jobs my heart goes out to you and I hope you find something right away where your talent can shine. And thank you to all of you who are still pushing yourselves in making this a worthy Halo title, I and everyone here appreciate you. The game still is in what feels like a beta state, but it’s getting good. I never thought I’d come back and play, yet your persistence in not giving up brought me back. Thanks for pushing me to eat my own words, I’d rather be proven wrong about what I thought would happen to the game than be right. I have a wishlist I’ll put down, I know not everyone will agree with a Halo boomer like me, but I believe these things would make the game exponentially better (ps if anyone wants to I welcome adding to this list, it’s fun to see what you come up with or agree/disagree with):

Bring back custom colors and make the armor coatings a texture. I think the customization in the armor color department is tanking a lot, I’d really like the ability to choose my own colors. The coating patterns are cool, you’d still get money just give us the option to change our own colors. I’d pay for DLC to get this moving, I’m sure a lot of other people would too.

No BR only starts in team slayer, it just doesn’t make sense in a casual format. If you must, make a “social slayer” playlist where casuals and I can enjoy precision and auto starts.

The sniper shouldn’t 3 shot warthogs or any other vehicles. I don’t get it from a gameplay perspective, 3 of my friends and I are in a hog, someone three shots it, they get 3 kills for 3 shots, they’re getting rewarded for what would have taken someone in Halo 3 a tremendous amount of skill to do. I think the vehicle sandbox is suffering because of the skewer and the sniper, and don’t get me wrong I love the skewer, it’s just in the past you could dodge a rocket or missile pod, but you can’t dodge a sniper. Vehicles just need to be stronger, more durable, especially the banshee.

Pregame lobbies and veto system, not much to elaborate on there, it’s just a staple of halo games that should be there.

This one is kinda dumb, but I’d like the ability to choose the main menu and lobby music. Something that I loved about super smash bros ultimate is that you had the ability to take songs from any game in their library and make them your menu music. You guys have an amazing lineup of songs from the past games, if you make this an option I’d be super grateful. Also, infinites songs are fantastic too, I love the banished theme.

This list is incredibly small to what I used to have, and it’s a lot of wishful things that some may disagree with :P. We all have different opinions about the state of the game and what we’d like to see, so put them in the comments if you’d like.
