I just wanted to say I appreciate seeing someone from the development side take the time and engage the community here on waypoint. I mean Skec7ch (not sure if I spelled that correctly) has a few times, but other than that there has been little to no communication. If anyone from 343 engages it’s usually on reddit and not here on waypoint. I’m not saying it’s bad to engage fans on other sites, but it does frustrate when they ignore waypoint. But you here lately have been regularly engaging HW2 players on waypoint. You have made several posts asking things like what we want from the game, and I’ve seen you respond directly to people also. That is so refreshing to see here. It’s also very reassuring about the future of the game and makes feel like maybe it won’t get abandoned by the developers. That makes me more hopeful for the future of this game and Halo in general.
You see the open communication in my mind helps me have a more positive image of 343 and Halo. It also helps me to understand things. Sometimes an update is made that I don’t agree with, but if I read your posts then I understand where you are coming from and that can influence my opinion in a good way.
Anyway again thanks. Hopefully this open dialog about Halo Wars 2 will continue. Hopefully support for HW2 will continue. And hopefully more people from 343 will engage the community from all aspects of the franchise (FPS, RTS, books, merchandise, etc.) in the future.
