apparently MLG is updating its playlists on DEC 1st. here are the details

On December 1st, the MLG Playlist will be updated again.

All Game Types in Slot 1 and 2 will have Zero Bloom, No Sprint, and 120% speed. All Game Types in Slot 3 will have Zero Bloom, Sprint, and 110% speed.

The v6 version of the Maps will be used for all Game Types (AAs will be on all Maps). We will continue testing different weapon/power-up layouts and consider removing AAs completely in the future. We also plan to add Halo CEA Maps to the Playlist as soon as possible.

i am not “pro” and haven’t played serious MLG since Halo 3 but I am extremely excited about these playlist changes. this is exactly what i think 343 should do with arena. these settings will feel like a more skill based competitive halo. i can’t wait to try this out.

i agree with both of you. i’ve never enjoyed bloom and i love that they are trying increased default movement speed without AAs. and yea making it ranked would be awesome too. but thats up to 343. i hope more people play mlg now and 343 can realize how important a good competitive halo experience is for the franchise.

imho the top could be to separate the slayer to the objective…many people likes only slayer, and don’t play mlg for objective…

they said they plan to include CE maps ASAP. i can’t wait for that either this is just great news
