Thank you for your continued patience.

You’re welcome. But the word is “resignation”.

Seriously? You’re ‘resigning’ on a game that you bought, and intended to play? Patience is a virtue, resignation is a choice.

I seriously doubt you bought this game with the intention to play it ONLY this week. You bought the game to play it at all. No time frame was a part of your decision.

Once it’s fixed, you will get EXACTLY what you paid for. Nothing more.

‘Once it’s fixed’ is a stupid -Yoink- statement. It should already have been working from the start. The fact that the mulitiplayer was kinda -Yoink-'d the first couple of days I could have accsepted. But when Achievements don’t work, parties don’t work, game freezes and crashes on a regular basis, poorly optimized in general, scoring don’t work, the team split-ups -Yoinks!- you over when you can get into a MM game once every blue moon and you have to download a 15GB patch on the already 45GB which is the game.

There is just no excuse for ruining ‘aguably’ Xbox’s best AAA title like that. 343 just -Yoink-'d up and don’t want to admit they are either complete idiots for not seeing these flaws before shipping the game or they just don’t give a -Yoink- cus they already got our money months before the game was even out…

Once it’s fixed is not a stupid statement.

Sure, it’s bad that it’s broken right now, but acting like 343I murdered your child solves NOTHING. Patience, solves this situation. 343 messed up, shame on them, let’s respectfully wait for them to correct their mistake.

Also, a lot of those problems you listed, are specific to some people. I have run into very few bugs, even the MM is functioning partially, for me.\

In fact, I feel like I got my $60 worth, AND MORE with how much they are trying to fix it. Developer support HAS a price, you know. Try to be a little curteous about that.
They didn’t ruin it, they will fix it. IT will be fixed, then it will be fun and everyone will be completely satisified, as though this never happened.

343 ruined it look at these forums they published a broken game.

Resignation is not a choice when you don’t have any other option.

I paid to play it as soon as I paid for it. Period. MS already have my (our) money. All of it.

Anyway. What I mean by “resignation” is that I (we) don’t have any other choice but waiting for them to fix it. One day, one week, one month… whatever it takes.

You know what? I’ve shown a very understanding and supporting attitude towards the company (everyone but management) in all my posts here. This one was pretended to be a little joke (that’s why I included the “;-)”. I still believe that developers are doing their job, while management decided to publish it unfinished. But I’m starting to get more and more pissed by this “what are you claiming for? Just wait” attitude of many people here. It’s submission ad nauseam.

Look, this is a complete shame. And today’s patch delay is a proof that when the game was released, it was far, far from being in a reasonable completeness status.
If we care about the quality and joy of these video games we love so much, we should not tolerate this kind of atrocious game releases.

I suck at multiplayer (any game) so they can take one month more if they need it, while I’m trying to enjoy the campaign (regardless of many achievements not being unlocked, and the so -Yoink!- game saving issue and crashes).

But I repeat: this-is-a-shame.

Yep, they should. If they expect to sell at least one Halo 5 copy to the people in these forums…

I’m in these forums, and I still will purchase Halo 5 day one. Heck, I would still purchase THIS game day one, if I had known of this issues ahead of time. (And theoretically, we ALL should have known - logic dictates that it was bound to have large issues)

It will be fixed. It’s an inconvenience, but no reason to give up.
