I just read the new mcc update and i couldnt be more happy and hyped about Halo,
The biggest news for me is the tickrate fix and custom edition maps in mcc, remember playing hours upon hours every day on my pc with my friends discovering new maps, reliving that experience is hype overload. Now i know this is just the first of many updates, but really wish we get odst firefight as well, or maybe reach?? im a huge classic halo fan, but wouldnt mind having Halo reach as well, had fun times playing that as well.
I hope the beta drops soon and players come back to mcc, glad we are getting our childhood memories back. Cant wait to play the beta, i hope other players share the same opinion
Really glad that we got a new update about it. And glad to know roughlynwhen to expect the x enhancments as well for when I replay them.
Glad the UI looks far better and should make it easier to navigate. Never truly was difficult in the first place, but looks better.
The biggest surprise I got from it through, I fully did not expect the have hdr support for this as halo 5 didn’ receive the same treatment. And with how drastic of a difference hdr makes, I’m now even more excited to replay this! 4k with hdr makes such a massively bigger difference than straight up 4k only.
I agree, hype is definitely real after reading the new update blog. I’m excited to see what the team has in store for all of us. I was late to the party on the MCC so I never fully experienced the frustrations that many had, but I did experience a lot of bugs in the full year exclusively playing it. I ended up on Halo 5 because I got tired of the crashes and achievements bugs, but I always planned to return. Think I’ll boot it back up soon, very excited!
yea its great that they still care about fixing mcc and im glad they are being dedicated to it and im very excited to playing the beta and giving 343 my feedback to help make the experience as smooth as possible i will gladly come back to MCC i hope firefight is added to ODST would be awesome
