Thank you for the reponse

While I know many players are still upset about the whole ordeal, I’d like to say thanks for acknowledging the fiasco. I was one of the many very pissed off gamers, a veteran of the first days of CE even. However, reading this weeks bulletin has brought some peace to my mind. Although I would personally like to see visible ranks, just knowing that ranks are being implemented at all is awesome. No longer will I question the competency of my teammates, which results in less quitting on my part.
Also enjoy the two different ranking types. It’ll be interesting to see how it works out.

While I’m super glad about this, don’t let off the gas or stop listening to the competitive crowd. You may be taking a step or two in the right direction, but I feel a large portion of the fan base has yet to be placated.

Keep up the good work.

As an obvious member of the HCE player crowd, let me say a simple thank you for this last bulletin. I could have joined the pile on 343i crowd, and was very tempted after the GDC panel. However, I waited to respond, knowing that you are learning from this experience. I will come back for CSR, although probably mainly Throwdown and Dubs. Thank you for listening and if Bravo is down to run Throwdown or dubs. My GT: ThreeShotPistol. THANK YOU! P.S. If the format of this post is Wall of text i’m sorry but this was typed from the 360 iexplorer app.

Oh yeah and OP you forgot an ‘s’ in your thread title.

Ya, I was so excited by the time I realized I made a spelling mistake it was too late.

Also, really happy to hear how 343 plans on treating the JiP with the ranked games.

They have addressed two of the main reasons I quit so often in this one bulletin.

You know, 343 does listen to certain stuff we mention, they add and change things like CSR and what not. But I really feel as if it’s far too late. A large part of the community has already dropped this game, too dissapointed by what Halo 4 has become. I for one would have enjoyed things like Team Throwdown and CSR at the start, but I just can’t make myself go back to the horror which was Halo 4, I just don’t feel like playing it ever again.

Since I’m not alone in this, I wonder if all these additions and changes 343 makes will really bring back the masses. Maybe they will get the wrong impression because of this. They will think, we brought back CSR and competitive and classic playlists and we still have a low population. These are the right changes though, but a little too late I’m afraid.

I realize things could have been better but I also realize that 343i is a new team and they did great for their first halo. They’ll keep up and do better with the next . I’m pretty happy so far. Just don’t let the negative people get to you. Be positive but know that there are flaws.

It is never too late to correct a mistake.

I have enjoyed Halo since the beginning, as many of our community, and will continue to enjoy Halo 4 which gets better everyday.

It makes me so happy to watch the game get better and better every day, I just wish the over-zealous fools who left at the beginning of the game return for the populations sake
